The eyes of your dog are like that of a human, they are the windows of the dog's well-being as well as of the soul. Wind and dust often affect a dog's eye health. Especially if your dog is the lighter color he or she will need extra care around the eye area removing tear stains.

The ears of a dog are especially sensitive. Extreme care should be given to avoid irritation. Never wash the inside of a dog's ears with soap and water or shampoo. Directions:
Shake well. Gently apply enough drops into the ear canal so that it is moistened. Massage the base of the ear canal to help loosen wax. Remove liquid, dissolved wax and dirt with cotton or facial tissue. Clean applicator tip thoroughly after each use. Do not use cotton swabs or insert pointed objects into the ear. Use two times daily. If condition does not resolve itself after 4-5 days, see your veterinarian. For routine cleaning and maintenance, use 1-2 times weekly or as needed.

Nose: A dog's nose most usually needs little or no care. Adverse conditions may arise in the short-nosed breeds whose nasal passages are short and pinched. If the nose cracks from dryness and irritation, try bathing the nose twice daily with a soft sponge dipped in warm boric acid solution. Follow with an application of Vaseline worked well into the nasal passages. Hold the mouth shut for a few moments or the dog will immediately try to lick its nose clean.

Teeth: The well being and good health of a dog depends largely upon the condition of its teeth. You want to keep your dog's teeth clean with regular brushing and professional cleanings.
