The English Toy Spaniel

This is a very beautiful little dog that has been a favorite in England for many generations. It comes in several varieties:

  • King Charles (black and tan)
  • Prince Charles (white with black and tan markings)
  • The Ruby (ruby red)
  • The Blenheim (white with red markings)
King Charles Spaniel 200

The coat of an English Toy Spaniel is long, silky-soft and shiny. One of the most reliable books written about this little dog is Toy Dogs and Their Ancestors written by Judith Lynton, an Englishwoman. She traced Toy Spaniels back to France, Spain, Italy and the island of Malta and through the trade routes of ships from Europe to the Orient.

Jean-Baptiste Huet. - Portrait of a King Charles Spaniel

Toy Spaniels were favorites with royalty as far back as the 17th century.

They have a sweet personality making them one of the best of house dogs and companions. They have also been noted to travel well presenting very little trouble on the road. Even very young puppies are noted to rarely get car sick.

The English Toy Spaniel dogs adapt well to almost any climate.

Positive Dog Training Helps Dogs Recognize You as the Pack Leader

Training dogs using positive reinforcement and reward training has long been recognized as both highly effective for the owner and a positive experience for the dog. Positive reinforcement training is so important that it is the only method used to train dangerous animals like lions and tigers for work in circuses and in the movie and television industry. Proponents of positive reinforcement swear by the effectiveness of their techniques, and it is true that the vast majority of dogs respond well to these training methods.

One reason that positive reinforcement training is so effective is that it uses rewards to teach the dog what is expected of it. When the dog performs the desired behavior, he is provided with a reward, most often in the form of a food treat, but it could be a scratch behind the ears, a rub under the chin or a pat on the head as well. The important thing is that the is rewarded consistently for doing the right thing. Use Life's Abundance Tasty Rewards Nutrition treats for best results:

With Tasty Rewards Nutritional Treats, discipline can be delicious!

Reward training has become increasingly popular in recent years, but chances are some sort of reward training between humans and dogs has been going on for hundreds if not thousands of years.

When understanding what makes reward training so effective, some knowledge of the history of humans and dogs is very helpful. The earliest dogs were probably wolf pups that were tamed and used by early humans for protection from predators, as alarm systems and later for guarding and herding livestock. It is possible that the wolf pups that made the best companions were the most easily trained, or it is possible that these early dogs were orphaned or abandoned wolf pups. Whatever their origin, there is little doubt today that the vast variety of dogs we see today have their origin in the humble wolf.

Wolf packs, like packs of wild dogs, operate on a strict pack hierarchy. Since wolf and dog packs hunt as a group, this type of hierarchy, and the cooperation it brings, is essential to the survival of the species. Every dog in the pack knows his or her place in the pack, and except in the event of death or injury, the hierarchy, once established, rarely changes.

Every dog is hard wired by nature to look to the pack leader for guidance. The basis of all good dog training, including reward based training, is for the handler to set him or herself up as the pack leader. The pack leader is more than just the dominant dog, or the one who tells all the subordinates what to do. More importantly, the pack leader provides leadership and protection, and his or her leadership is vital to the success and survival of the pack.

It is important for the dog to see itself as part of a pack, to recognize the human as the leader of that pack, and to respect his or her authority. Some dogs are much easier to dominate than others. If you watch a group of puppies playing for a little while, you will quickly recognize the dominant and submissive personalities.

    New Toy Puppy Settling In

Try not to take your new puppy to the vet the very first day you bring him home. Allow your new toy puppy to get acquainted with its new family, home and surroundings. Do take your toy puppy to the vet within 48 to 72 hours and begin to establish a rapport between the vet and your new puppy.

You will want to make sure you've purchased a healthy puppy. If your vet finds disease or a defect the breeder was not aware of your health guarantee may warrant a return of the puppy for a full refund or exchange within a certain amount of time.

It is important to spend time with your new toy puppy during the first week in his new home. Exercise will be important. Make sure you are also having fun and building a bond of trust. Play games together. Puppies love to run after toys you toss and bring them back to you. The more your new toy puppy focuses on you, the easier it will be to train him later.

Have a collar and leash ready to put on your new toy puppy for times you take him out. Toy dogs can be accidentally injured or killed by children or adults who might drop them, or step on them. Provide adequate supervision for the toy puppy at all times.

Expose your toy puppy to all the normal day-to-day noises in your household such as television, radio, the telephone ringing. Introduce your toy puppy to the rest of canine household. You want your new toy puppy to be accepted as a new family member. Do not bring your toy puppy inside to invade your other dog's turf until they have been properly introduced on neutral ground (belonging to neither of them at the moment).

If you have more than one other canine to introduce to the new member, introduce them all one on one, to each of the others one at a time. Just as you would give lots of attention to your first-born when bringing home a new baby, be sure to give lots of praise to your other dogs when in the presence of a new puppy. Pat the dog. Pat the puppy.

When the older dog or dogs show a caring, gentle reaction to the new toy puppy, praise them for their good behavior. Don't let anyone feel left out at anytime. You want to create one big happy family. Let them spend time together in the beginning under your close supervision.

Depending on the season you bring your new toy puppy home, have on hand all his special clothes. For example, if it is spring or summer, have lightweight, cotton t shirts, shirts or dresses. If it is cold weather have coats, hats, sweaters and fleece t shirts readily available for inside and outside. Dressing your toy puppy can help create a healthy bond between you and your new toy puppy. Consider having several stylish collars, leashes and accessories.

Have on hand Life's Abundance nutritious and safe chew treats. Puppies love to chew. Provide them with something safe and nutritious.

    First Bath for Puppy

Do not wait too long to start grooming your new puppy. It is hard to make brushing a positive experience if you wait until your puppy is matted and start by yanking out the mats and tangles. If this becomes necessary, carefully clip out mats, then begin working with your mat-free dog to acclimate it to grooming.

When you use scissors to remove mats, snip a few hairs at a time. Be sure you have clearance between the mat and the skin. If your puppy is too wiggly to do this safely, please seek the help of a professional groomer. You can also use Life's Abundance Bath Fresh Mist to help you untangle the coat:

    Bath Fresh Mist
    Bath Fresh Mist

    For shiny, silky-soft coats
  • Untangles matted hair
  • Lovely kiwi-mango scent
  • Made in the USA

  • Bath Fresh Mist contains an intoxicating mix of certified organic herbal extracts, aromatic botanicals and natural fruit extracts to help foster strong, healthy and vibrant coats. Plus, this formula is enhanced with a moisture-activated odor fighter that safely absorbs and neutralizes unpleasant odors. There’s no better way to nourish the coat’s natural condition, leaving it soft, luxurious and delicately fragrant.

The perfect finish to a bath or a great between-bath freshener, you’ll love the way your pet kid smells after a spritz of Bath Fresh Mist! Gentle enough for puppies and kittens over 12 weeks of age.

    Item Size: 8 fl. oz.

Do not bathe your puppy too frequently. You will risk drying out its skin and coat. Bathe your puppy no more than once weekly and every two weeks if possible. In between baths, you can use the Life's Abundance Bath Fresh Mist to freshen up the coat.

Create a positive association with bath time using the following steps:

    1. Let him hop into his bathtub to eat treats you toss on the tub floor (without water in the tub). You can also place him in the tub if he cannot jump into the tube and feed him treats. Provide a nonskid surface on the tub floor.

    2. To accustom your puppy to towels try touching him, then rubbing him with the corner of a towel and feed him a treat. Gradually work up to more vigorous toweling. No water at this time.

    3. Introduce the blow-dryer by starting with a handheld pet or human dryer set on low and hold a few feet away from him, turned so it does not blow on him. Feed treats during the process. Gradually bring the dryer closer and start by moving the air across his toes, then his legs. Continue until he is accustomed to the warm air blowing all over his body.

    4. While he is standing in the tube, soak a sponge in warm water and dribble it over him. Allow your puppy to shake it off, and then offer a treat. Gradually work up to turning the faucet on and allow him to stand in the water. Gently begin hosing him with the warm water.

    5. Take a small amount of Life's Abundance Revitalizing Shampoo,  Lather a small part of his body. Rinse. The next time you are at this step, increase the soaping and rinsing until you are bathing the entire dog.

If you will follow these steps slowly, you should be able to teach your puppy to enjoy his bath time, which will make this very important routine much easier for the both of you.

The Importance of Dog Rewards Training

Rewards just may be the single most important motivator in dog training. Obedience training through the use of rewards and other positive reinforcements has long been recognized as the most effective method of reaching most dogs and getting the best possible results.

Making obedience training fun, and even making it a bit of a game, can be very important to keeping both the dog and the handler motivated and willing to learn. Incorporating a period of playtime at the beginning and end of every training session will make sure that every session begins and ends on a good note.

The most basic of all obedience commands is heeling, or walking with the handler on a loose lead. This is usually the first obedience behavior that is taught, and it is an easy one to teach through reward training. Begin by fitting the dog with a quality, properly fitted training lead and training collar. If you are unsure of how to fit the training collar, be sure to ask a dog trainer, or the manager at the store where the equipment is purchased.

Start walking with the dog, always being cognizant of the dog's position relative to your own. If the dog begins to forge ahead, gently pull on the leash. This will engage the training collar and give the dog a gentle reminder to slow down. It may be necessary to apply greater pressure at first until the shih tzu learns to accept the correction.

If the dog begins to fall behind, slow down and gently urge the dog forward. The use of a lure, or a favorite toy, can be very useful when teaching the dog to walk at your side. By keeping the lure at the desired position for the dog, he or she should quickly learn the desired location.

Always be sure to provide plenty of praise, treats, toys and other rewards when the dog does what is expected of him. Dogs learn best by positive reinforcement. Positive reinforcement means that when the animal does what the handler wants, it receives a reward, which can be anything from a pat on the head to a treat to a favorite toy. At the beginning of training, even the slightest attempts to please the owner should be rewarded. Use Life's Abundance Tasty Rewards Nutritional Treats:

  • Good behavior should be rewarded, but often training treats are empty-calorie treats with no nutritive value and include undesirable ingredients. At Life's Abundance, we strongly believe that you should only feed treats that can help to support overall health.

Tasty Rewards are wholesome nutritional treats made from New Zealand-raised chicken and lamb.

With Tasty Rewards Nutritional Treats, discipline can be delicious!

Training by using reprimands and punishment is not nearly as effective as training by using rewards. Dogs can become discouraged and confused by excessive amounts of punishment and reprimands. Reprimands may be required from time to time, to correct potentially dangerous behaviors like chasing or biting, for instance, but reprimands should be short and directly attributed to the problem behavior at hand. After the immediate danger has passed, the training should continue with reward based training and positive reinforcement.

For instance, if you come home and your dog is chewing the furniture or other inappropriate item, immediately give the dog a sharp "No"or "Off" and take the item away. Then immediately give the dog one of his toys or other items that he is allowed to chew on, and praise the dog enthusiastically when he takes the toy and begins to chew it. This will teach the dog to associate chewing some items, like his toys, with praise, and chewing inappropriate items with reprimand.

It is very important for the dog to make these associations, since it is very hard to change negative associations once they have formed. It is always much easier to train proper obedience behaviors the first time than it is to go back and retrain a problem dog later on. That does not of course mean that retraining is impossible, it simply means that it is more difficult.

Teaching a puppy, or an older dog, to associate the behaviors you value, such as coming when called, sitting on command, walking at your side, chewing only on toys, etc. with happy, fun times is the basis of all successful dog training.

    How About a Yorkshire Terrier?

If you are looking for a dog that weighs only a few pounds with a big spirit, the Yorkshire terrier or Yorkie may be just for you. The background of the Yorkie goes back to the 18th century. During the Industrial Revolution in England, Scotsmen left their country and headed south looking for work in England. They brought their families and dogs. Their dogs included Skye Terriers, Paisley Terriers and Clydesdale Terriers. The breeds ranged in size from 6 pounds to 20 pounds. They were all fairly heavily coated. Some had a silky texture to their coat. All carried blue-tan or gray coat colors. A common breed in Yorkshire, England at the time was the Waterside Terrier.

    Ernest Gustave Girardot04

The present-day Yorkshire Terrier is a combination of these four breeds. The beautiful long-coated dog with a silky steel blue and tan coat is prized as one of the smallest dogs in the world and the most popular toy breed.

    Yorkie or Yorkshire Terrier (11406003593)

By the 1850's, Yorkies were being shown in England. The standard weight fell anywhere between 5 and 18 pounds. By 1886, the English Kennel Club recognized the breed as the Yorkshire terrier and placed it in the newly formed Toy Group. Currently the Yorkie reigns in the top ten breeds in popularity in Britain.

The first recorded Yorkie whelped in the United States was in 1872. At first, the American Kennel Club divided the breed classes by weight: Under 5 pounds and over 5 pounds. The larger weight class had few entries. Therefore it was decided to have one weight class for all Yorkies, specifying weight range between 3 and 7 pounds. Today, the American Kennel Club breed standard for a Yorkie is 7 pounds.

    Yorkie-71465 640

The Yorkshire terrier is a very popular breed in the United States. Two very excellent breeders who raised and showed Yorkies in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s were the sisters Joan Gordon and Janet Bennett of the Wildweir Kennels. Their English import Ch. Little sir Model was the first Yorkie to win an all-breed best in Show.

At the present time the breed places in the top ten breeds in popularity of the AKC breeds. It continues to hold a number-one ranking as a Toy dog in America. Throughout all time the Yorkshire terrier has remained a favorite of the public.

Every breed of dog registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) has an official standard to help breeders and fanciers to understand the characteristics that define the particular breed. The standard tells us what makes the breed different from every other breed.

A Yorkie's coat is blue and tan and floor length. There is a standard set for the Yorkie's ears, muzzle and tail to look a certain way. These characteristics are sought out by breeders, as well as the Yorkie's typical temperament and personality as described in the standard. The standard for the Yorkie as compared to other breeds is short. The largest section is on the coat, which is very important for the breed. If one is going to show a Yorkie, the correct coat and color are of most concern.

    Chihuahua Training Tips

A good obedience class to train your Chihuahua is always helpful. However, you don't have to go to obedience classes. Many classes are especially for handling big, out-of-control dogs and may emphasize force methods to try and dominate and calm these dogs. These methods are not good for Chihuahuas, or any dog for that matter. If you run into instructors and classes like this, you are better off training your Chihuahua on your own or with other small-dog owners.

    Alert chihuahua 2

Old-fashioned force-training methods are ineffective and no fun for your dog either. Chihuahuas respond best to amendable training and only the gentlest of techniques.
Some guidelines to keep in mind:

    •  Guide, don't force. Chihuahuas want to please you. Your job is to show them what pleases you. If you force a Chihuahua you might bring out that notorious Chi stubborn streak.
    •  Punishment does not work. Chihuahuas seldom require anything but a mild correction.
    •  Accentuate the positive. Reward your dog for behaviors that please you. Use Life's Abundance Tasty Rewards Nutritional Treats:

    •  Will work for food. Your Chihuahua will work better for training sessions if her stomach is not full. She will be more responsive to food rewards on an empty stomach.
    • Happy endings. Keep sessions short and fun, no longer than 10 to 15 minutes. Begin and end each training session with something your dog can do well.
Chihuahuas are intelligent. Just because your Chihuahua lives a life of leisure does not mean she can't learn tricks. Chihuahuas don't hunt, herd or guard so they don't have an opportunity to show off like some of the other breeds.

Obedience and agility trials give Chihuahuas a chance to show what they can do. But you don't have to compete in the competitions to enjoy training your Chihuahua. Training should be a fun time for both of you. Chihuahuas need to have some kind of schooling. You might want to try Life's Abundance Agility Supplements:

    Agility Supplements

    MSM for musculoskeletal health

  • Glucosamine for bone & cartilage health
  • Hyaluronic acid to aid cartilage strength & mobility
  • Sea mussels to support joint integrity

  • Good joint health is crucial to your companion animal’s wellbeing. The ability to walk, run and jump represents a large part of your pet kids unique ability to express emotion. Unfortunately, aching and stiff joints are just as much a part of aging for dogs and cats as it is for humans. In fact, tens of millions of dogs and cats experience some form of joint challenges.

At present, several hip-and-joint formulas are marketed for companion animals. Unfortunately, most of these products treat the joint as an isolated goal; it is for this reason that they do not work as well as they could.

    Our Agility supplement
is a holistic formula, which means that it takes into account the needs of the whole body, including all the parts that work with the joints.

This formula helps maintain healthy joint cartilage and connective tissue, and to aid in the production of healthy synovial fluid, which lubricates the joints. This supplement features Glucosamine, MSM, sea mussels and hyaluronic acid. Agility Formula is a holistic, multi-action joint support formula containing scientifically-tested ingredients.

Glucosamine helps maintain and promote joint and connective tissue health. It has been shown to be essential in the healthy development and ongoing maintenance of connective tissue and synovial fluid. Research studies indicate that Glucosamine supports healthy joint flexibility, mobility and lubrication. Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a natural source of organic sulfur, an element vital to the maintenance of healthy joints, bones, ligaments and tendons.

Sea mussels also contain Chondroitin Sulfate, which works in tandem with Glucosamine. And hyaluronic acid helps to keep cartilage strong and flexible to better cushion joints. These nutrients work synergistically with the other ingredients in Agility (vitamins E and C, boswellia serrata, alfalfa leaf extract, chondroitin sulfate, manganese and boron) to supply your companion animal with a comprehensive formula to help maintain the health of the entire musculoskeletal system.

And last but not least, this holistic formula has a delicious flavor that your furry friends will love! Join thousands of satisfied customers, and help your pet kids lead a healthier and happier life with Agility Formula.

Clicker training works well for Chihuahuas. In clicker training you teach the dog that a click sound signals a coming reward. A clicker signal is used because it is fast, noticeable, and something the dog otherwise does not encounter in everyday life. Once the dog associates the click with an upcoming reward, you wait for the dog to do the behavior you want her to do. The instant she does so, you click to tell the dog her behavior deserves a reward. Then you give her the treat. If the dog makes a mistake, no treat. You just wait for her to do it right, then reward with a treat. Use Life's Abundance tasty and nutritious treats for good behavior rewards.

    Leader of the Pack

The basis of training dogs is winning the dog's trust, confidence and respect. True training cannot begin until the dog has accepted you as its leader, respects you and entrusted you with his or her confidence.

Australian Silky Terrier Alana Of Silky's Dream

The mistake many puppy owners make is mistaking love and affection for respect and confidence. While it is certainly important to love your new puppy, it is also very important that the puppy respect you and see you as his leader. Dogs are naturally pack animals, and every dog looks to the lead dog for advice and direction. Making yourself the pack leader is vital to the success of training any dog.

Failure to gain the respect of the dog can create a dog who is disobedient, out of control and even dangerous. Problem dogs are dangerous, whether they are created through bad breeding, owner ignorance or improper training.

It is important to train the dog right from the start, since retraining a problem dog is much more difficult than training a shih tzu puppy right the first time.

It is important for any new dog owner, whether working with a 12 week old puppy or a twelve year old dog, to immediately get the respect of the animal. That does not mean using rough or dangerous handling methods, but it does mean letting the dog know that you are in control of the situation.

Dogs need structure in their lives, and they will not resent the owner taking control. As a matter of fact, the dog will appreciate you taking the role of trainer and coach as you begin your training session.

When working with the dog, it is important to keep the training sessions short at first. This is particularly important when working with a young puppy, since puppies tend to have much shorter attention spans than older dogs. Keeping the training sessions short, and fun, is essential for proper training.

Beginning training sessions should focus on the most basic commands. The heel command is one of the most basic, and one of the easiest to teach. Start by putting the dog or puppy in a properly fitted training collar. Be sure to follow the instructions for fitting and sizing the color to ensure that it works as intended.

Begin to walk and allow your dog to walk beside you. If the dog begins to pull, gently pull on the leash. This in turn will tighten the training collar and correct the dog. If the gentle pressure is ineffective, it may be necessary to slowly increase the pressure. Always be careful to not over-correct the dog. Using too much pressure could frighten the dog and cause it to strain more. If the opposite problem occurs and the dog lags behind, the owner should gently encourage it until it is walking beside the owner.

Most dogs figure out the heeling concept fairly rapidly, and quickly figure out that they should walk beside their owners, neither lagging behind nor pulling ahead. Once the dog has mastered heeling at a moderate pace, the owner should slow his or her pace and allow the dog to adjust along with it. The owner should also speed up the pace and allow the dog to speed up as well. Finally, walking along and changing pace often will reinforce the lesson that the dog should always walk at the heel of the handler.

From heeling, the next step should be to halt on command. This halt command works well as an adjunct to heel. As you are walking, stop and watch your dog. Many dogs immediately realize that they are expected to stop when their handler does. Others may need the reminder of the leash and the training collar.

After the halt on command has been mastered, the handler should encourage the dog to sit on command as well. Once the dog has stopped, the handler gently pushes on the dog's hindquarters to encourage the sit. Usually, after this walk, halt, sit procedure has been done a few times, the dog will begin to sit on his own each time he stops. Of course, it is important to provide great praise, and perhaps even a treat, every time the dog does as he is expected.

The Japanese Chin Will Affect You Instantly

These little toy dogs are very attractive and loveable. From the first moment you meet one, you will fall in love with it. He or she has a perky little flat face, large, velvety-soft expressive eyes and a demure manner that a toy dog lover just cannot resist. The Japanese Chin has also been called the "Japanese Spaniel." It is a very old breed.

Chinese Temples still have centuries-old pottery, paintings and tapestries picturing the Japanese Chin. In the old days, this little dog were privileged pets belonging to the nobles of oriental courts. Once you get to know a Japanese Chin you will see what seems to be an inherent humor and old-world supreme courtliness attained from their original masters.

(The above photo is of Alexandra of Denmark originally painted in 1893). I love this painting!

In 1853 Commodore Perry sailed into Wraga Harbor opening the country's trade with the outside world. It was then the custom of nobles to receive prestigious dogs as gifts. Perry was presented with a pair of Japanese Chin. He gave his pair of Chins to Queen Victoria of England. Later, several Japanese Chin found their way to the United States.

Mrs. James S. Hoffman was one of the leading breeders in the United States during the 1800's. She was an avid fancier often writing about how the Japanese Chin was the perfect companion.

The Japanese Chin or Spaniel is a sturdy little dog who is able to thrive well in all types of weather and climates. Their personality is one that will never forget a true friend and will grieve themselves to death when faced with loss of their true human friends. They will do anything or sacrifice anything for the people they love. They are loveable, loyal and obedient to all members of their family. They make perfect companions for children. They give all members of the family attention and are never a nuisance to visitors.

We see a lot of black and white Chin's, however, they come in red and white as well.

Being easy whelpers, they have a natural maternal instinct making them the perfect mothers to their babies.

They are smart and are a breed who loves the attention of being dressed up. They love being little actors and actresses for their human companions, and for this reason are a beloved pet for little girls in particular.

General appearance is that of a lively little dog with dainty appearance, compact carriage and profuse coat. Use Life's Abundance Grooming products for best results.

Life's Abundance Skin and Coat Supplements will also be helpful in keeping this little dog's skin and coat healthy:

    Skin and Coat Supplements

Omega-3 fatty acids from flaxseed & fish oil

  • A total of seven B vitamins
  • Vitamins E, C & zinc
  • Irresistibly tasty, chewable tablets

  • How would you rate your companion animal’s skin and coat health? Does your pet have …
    • Dry, flaky skin or a dull, brittle coat
    • Oily, foul smelling skin or a matted coat
    • Thin coat, excessive hair loss or red, blotchy skin
    • Excessive scratching (especially, seasonally)
Keeping your companion animal’s skin healthy and coat shiny can prove very challenging. There’s more to skin-and-coat health than regular shampooing and daily brushing.

Even though the skin is the body’s largest organ, it takes a backseat to other organs when it comes to nutrition. In fact, the nutrients eaten by your pet go directly to the other vital organs first (such as the brain, heart, lungs and liver); as a consequence, the skin often suffers. Even if you are already feeding your companion animal a high-quality, nutritionally dense food, sometimes it’s just not enough to ensure skin and coat health. In fact, problems relating to the skin and coat are much more common than you might think as they account for a significant percentage of trips to the vet.

Skin & Coat Formula Can Help!
A comprehensive nutritional supplement, Skin & Coat Formula for Dogs and Cats addresses skin and coat health in a holistic way. Unlike ordinary skin and coat supplements that contain fatty acids and a few other ingredients, this formula supplies a whole host of additional nutrients that work together to address the complex factors that play a role in supporting skin and coat health. The nutrients featured in this formula can yield several health-promoting benefits. Here are just some of the highlights of how this supplement works …
    • In addition to skin-nourishing omega-3 fatty acids, this formula contains vitamin E and zinc, which help increase the effectiveness of the fatty acids.
    • The vitamin A in this formula helps cells to grow and supports the naturally-occurring layer of oil on the skin, helping to keep it healthy and supple.
    • This formula also contains vitamin C, which supports healthy collagen development.
    • And to top it off, our new and improved Skin & Coat now contains seven different B vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, d-pantothenic acid, niacin, pyridoxine, B12 and biotin), all of which work with the other nutrients in this formula to aid in the many complex chemical reactions required for healthy skin and coat.
If your companion animal’s skin or coat is less than perfect, try a bottle of  Skin & Coat Formula with a comprehensive line-up of nutrients that work together to help support healthy skin and a shiny coat.
