Four Common Skin Problems in Dogs

Vets see a lot of dogs with skins problems. It is the most common complaint for dog pet parents. For dogs, skin is one of the organs most frequently affected by allergies. There is well over 100 different causes of canine skin problems. As a pet parent, it is difficult to determine just why your dog is red and/or itchy. Start with the basics. The cause of a skin disease is the underlying condition that creates skin problems for your dog companion. It could be something simple or something serious. The Chinese Shar-Pei Has a Hippopotamus Looking Muzzle

He is a compact and powerful dog with many odd physical characteristics. From head to tail:

• a broad hippopotamus muzzle
