Bad Leash Behavior Can Be Corrected

Do not avoid outdoor time with your companion animal just because the dog behaves badly on a leash. Some dogs can get very stubborn while on a leash and become unruly. This behavior most likely stems from aggression or fear. You know it is no fun at all having a collar around your neck attached to a foreign object to your pet that is a leash. Be brave. Dr. Sarah, a Life's Abundance on staff vet, can help you with these issues.

In the video below Dr. Sarah gives tips on how to gain a basic understanding of asserting leash control. Once your dog learns he or she can trust you with a leash, both of you can start enjoying the outdoors. The experience will help you bond with your companion as well as be good for you both just to be out in the fresh air getting some exercise.
