Ways to Help Prevent Dog Periodontal Disease

Persistent dog bad breath could be a sign of periodontal disease. Other signs of periodontal disease include:

  • yellow-brown tartar at gum line

  • red, swollen, bleeding gums
  • drooling
  • blood in the saliva
  • broken teeth
  • reluctant or hesitate to chew bones or hard food
  • loss of appetite
It is important to "prevent" periodontal disease for a number of reasons. If periodontitis is left untreated or not prevented it can spread to the dog's kidneys, heart valves and other vital organs.
Dental hygiene is accomplished in animals just the same as in humans - by cleaning the teeth regularly. Much is achieved when dogs eat a high quality diet for their breed type and size with high quality ingredients rich in enzymes and probiotics (the beneficial bacteria). Feed Life's Abundance according to your breed type and size as a beginning for prevention of periodontal disease. Add the Life's Abundance Wellness  Food Supplement for even greater nutrition values.
If your dog eats a well balanced diet daily, he or she will likely have strong, clean teeth and gums throughout life. Brushing your dog's teeth in addition to a well balanced diet makes good sense. Even an occasional brushing is a good idea. Go one step further and allow your vet to professional the teeth at regular intervals.
Feed a Life's Abundance Buffalo Bully Stick at least once per week. Buffalo Bully Sticks are:

Healthy teeth and gums are an important consideration for your dog’s overall health. Poor dental hygiene can result in health consequences throughout the whole body, not just the mouth.
Our Gourmet Dental Treats contain a variety of healthy grains, high-quality proteins plus hefty helpings of calcium and phosphorus, which are important nutrients for strong bones and teeth. And, we’ve included parsley to freshen your dog’s breath.
With Gourmet Dental Treats, you'll be helping to support dental health and treating your dog to scrumptious oven-baked goodness!
Feed as a snack as a part of your dog’s daily diet. Great for rewards or just to show your dog how much you love them!

If you practice the above suggestions consistently, your dog should have no problems with periodontal disease. Learn the signs of periodontal disease and check your dog's mouth regularly.

From the beginning, putting people first has been part of our DNA. We put employees first by making the company 100% employee owned. We put customers first by providing world class products and customer service. We put our Field Reps first by providing a compensation plan that is uniquely structured to be fair and scalable, whether you want to sell products to a group of friends or build a large organization. We don’t believe in binary compensation because it favors the corporation and large distributors.
COMPENSATION PLAN ADVANTAGES
Our compensation plan has no mandatory personal purchase requirements. We don't want you buying stuff you don't need. Additionally, approximately 75% of our revenue comes from people who order on a recurring basis. This is possible because we offer high quality, consumable products with superior customer service. We designed our compensation plan to reward you for this by paying out the highest percentage on customer purchases.
