The Bold and Valiant Giant Schnauzer

The best of Giant Schnauzers are just as their name suggests, "imposing." Standing about 27.5 inches high and weighing around 95 pounds full grown, these dogs are muscular and substantial looking. The double coat is either solid black or pepper and salt. Some familiar characteristics are:
  • a harsh beard and eyebrows
    GiantSchnauzer Grass
  • a keen and sagacious expression
    Bvdb-riesen schnauzer
Feed the Giant Schnauzer a high quality diet appropriate for dog's age such as those offered through Life's Abundance. Feed treats sparingly as these dogs can become obese creating more health problems than necessary. Treats are important for training purposes. Use high quality treats such as those offered through Life's Abundance.

Brush your Giant Schnauzer's dense, wiry, weather-resistant double coat (soft undercoat and harsh outer coat) weekly. Clip or strip the coat regularly to maintain a healthy and attractive coat.
