Plant a Dog Friendly Garden and Enjoy the Fruits of Your Labor With Fido by Your Side

Are you a gardener? I commend you if you are. Gardening can be extremely rewarding both as a pastime and in the nutritious vegetables, fruits and herbs you can grow. Growing your own garden of nutrition also saves you lots of money. It always taste better fresh from the garden!
Did you know you can plant and grow a doggie friendly garden? In this article I will give you a few tips to help you grow your dog friendly garden.
First of all you need to choose what to grow. Makes sense. Right? Growing a garden just for you requires this first step, but if you are going to make it dog friendly as well, it takes a bit more planning.
Plants high in antioxidants and safe for dogs to consume include:
  • Green beans
  • Berries  like cranberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries
  • Barley grasses
Avoid growing onions and tomato plants in your back yard if Fido spends a lot of time there and if you are planning to grow a dog friendly garden.

You can also grow:
  • Dandelion greens which are natural sources of Vitamins, A, C, K, D, and B.
  • Rosemary is an iron-rich antioxidant
  • Parsley often used to fresh breath in canine dental treats. Spring parsley can be toxic, so watch out for that. Curly-leafed parsley is okay. Life's Abundance Gourmet Dental Treats contain parsley to help freshen your dog's breath.
  • Basil has antioxidant, antiviral and antimicrobial properties.
Planning your space for the garden:
  • Put  a fence around the garden to keep Fido out at times he or she should be out. If you don't do this you run the risk of Fido overeating from the garden.
  • No space to put a garden with a fence? Use hanging pots or containers placed on a stand where Fido cannot reach them.
  • Check your type of fertilizer. Is it spray on or pelleted? Check that the active ingredients are non-toxic and follow instructions carefully.
  • The mulch is something to consider the same as your fertilizer rules. Dogs can get into both mulch and fertilizer. Be sure it is all non-toxic to dogs. You really do not want your dog eating any mulch or fertilizer.
Plant, watch it grow and enjoy the fruits of your labor. You might have a conversation with your vet before adding any of the garden edibles to your dog's diet as all dogs differ.

Keep in mind the highest quality of dog food should be fed daily to  your dogs. I recommend Life's Abundance wholesome and nourishing dog foods, nutrition systems and healthy start packs.

So far as nutrition as a whole, pet owners are more than ever concerned about what their pets are really eating. This is why Life's Abundance cooks dog food in small batches with safety considerations second-to-none, which ensures pets stay happy and healthy.
If  you raise puppies, the type of food  you feed and send your puppies home on is a crucial decision. Be ahead of your competition and feed the highest quality of food you most possibly can.
And even better is to feed dog products that will give you a "return" in money to the point you end up feeding your crew for FREE. Become a Life's Abundance Rep and feed your own crew using your down line and customer's residual income.
You will end up with a customer base that will put money back into your pocket that translates into eventually getting your dog products for FREE.
Continue adding reps under you and build your residual income for a lifetime while you raise puppies. When you are no longer able to raise puppies, perform dog training sessions, groom dogs, etc., a Life's Abundance business keeps you in the dog community helping dogs to live longer and healthier lives and continues to give you a residual income to spend on vacations, unexpected expenses, help you make ends meet in retirement and more.

If Charity work with animals is something you love to do, you also gain by using Life's Abundance products. Using the Life's Abundance products is an excellent way of "giving back" to the pet community. Charitable work is at the core of the Life's Abundance mission. Every order placed contributes to homeless animals. The work is done through the non-profit branch of Life's Abundance.
